Lucidity Advisory - Bringing clarity to complexity
Holding a PhD in Economics, I have spent more than three decades working at the intersection of economics, public finance, social security, statistics and projections.
Within the Swiss Federal Finance Administration, the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs and the Federal Social Insurance Office, I held expert and leadership responsibilities and worked with highly qualified teams on demanding projects.
My work has focused on analysing economic and financial developments, interpreting statistical information, developing projections and supporting decision-making processes in complex institutional environments.
Throughout my career, I have contributed to a number of major projects. These include the development of Switzerland’s quarterly national accounts, contributions to the introduction of the federal debt brake, and participation in various national and international expert groups. At the European level, I was a co-author of the Eurostat Handbook on Quarterly National Accounts.
Alongside these technical activities, I held leadership positions in analytical, statistical and policy-oriented environments, most recently as Deputy Director of the Swiss Federal Social Insurance Office. I also gained extensive experience in governance, strategy and institutional leadership through board memberships at Publica and Compenswiss.
These diverse experiences have given me a deep understanding of how organizations use data, analysis and expertise to make informed decisions, including in environments shaped by uncertainty.
From March 2027 onwards, I will make this experience available to public institutions, pension funds, healthcare organizations and other entities facing economic, financial, demographic or strategic challenges.
Organizations need subject-matter expertise. They also need people who can connect data, analysis and decision-making. This is the interface where I can contribute most effectively.
